Is it correct that Jammy and Noble do not have the fixed version (yet)?
I have a system that has very recently been upgraded from focal to jammy
and now the clock shows as UTC.

any combination of them (my system knows 3).
What package version have you installed, and which window manager are
you using?
I'm using Gnome (= not Unity) and network-manager-gnome

Only one monitor is plugged into the DisplayLink docking station so I
think the limitation of two monitors is not the problem. If I deactivate
the internal laptop monitor or the monitor plugged directly into the
laptop nothing changes. The mouse keeps flickering on the monitor that
is not connected
No it's not reproducible if I turn off the 3rd monitor which is
connected through DisplayLink.

I tried the Live version of Ubuntu 16.04 and installed the DisplayLink
driver. But I couldn't even select the third monitor which is plugged in
through DisplayLink. So I can't tell if the problem exists there too as
the driver for the video output via DisplayLink seems not to work. At
least I can't
After the BIOS update the problem is still reproducible.

I installed the Vivid enablement stack like suggested on

kernel 3.19 but sadly nothing changed.
If I switch from Unity to Gnome the flickering disappears but I would
prefer to keep Unity as I like the lau
VirtualBox seems to be a different story. Try adding "nosmap" to the
kernel command line (see http://askubuntu.com/questions/581301
/virtualbox-stuck-on-starting-virtual-machine ), that worked for me.
