Hi
I can try, but if I install the Nouveau driver that opens up a can of worms
here.
The graphics become completely unstable, shaking, with vert or horiz tearing.
Just completely unusable. It is real tricky to even get through the menus to
get to the drivers to get out of Nouveau.

Hello Christopher,
Thanks for looking into this.
I probably mentioned this above, but there were no issues with the system under

This may have helped a bit, but the distortion is still there. As stated above
I swapped the 48000 with the 41000 after removing the rem(;) in daemon.conf.

At least can someone give me an idea how to put an icon on my desktop to call
xrandr -s 1920x1080 ?
This is getting a bit old having to do a Ctrl+Alt+T to pull up the terminal and
type in the line.
Thanks

Hello,
Yes this is probably too little-too late, but maybe someone else can
benefit from it.
I'm not an expert at this and neither a Dev or Programmer, but this is what I
did to correct my situation here with the audio via HDMI to my TV.
Below I used leafpad for my editor, pick your own poison..
