I can confirm the same behavior Dan reports on 24.04.2 with the newest
libgoa package from the specific PPA. Same domain as Dan as well for
context.

I have exactly the same error. As stated above, keyboard letter "P"
upper or lower case can be typed without causing the attempted new
folder to disappear. The workaround I have been using for this is first
creating the folder in Nautilus, where there is no issue, and then
saving files into it fro
