I finally got something to work.
to summarize :
I first applied patches from bug #1325142 to avoid package installation errors
while issuing dist-upgrade.
THEN
I applied patch from bug #1325142.
I succesfully remastered a xubuntu 14.04.1 64 bits iso with dist-
upgrade in chroot and guess wha
Results of some commands issued in this busybox shell
(initramfs) mountroot
mount: mounting /dev/sr0 on /cdrom failed: No such device
(initramfs) blkid
/dev/sr0: LABEL="Customized Ubuntu Live CD" TYPE="iso9660"
(initramfs) mount -t iso9660 -o ro,noatime /dev/sr0 /cdrom
mount: mounting /dev/sr0 o
Public bug reported:
I used uck and manual live cd customization with chroot. I remastered a 14.04
xubuntu livecd.
Done a successfull apt-get dist-upgrade in chroot using workarounds from Bug
#1325142 and Bug #1211933.
But the cd won't boot due to initramfs initrd.img-3.13.0-34-generic update
