We will try to move to Country/city timezones, however we have many
systems on bionic/trusty (yes trusty!), and it is affecting all of them.
eg: 2024a-0ubuntu0.18.04.1+esm1 shipped via canonical ESM also is buggy.
Would you or someone would possibly know if this will be fixed/pa

This had no impact on my Lenovo Yoga 9 14IAP7 problem.
Sound volume is low and there is no bass.
Alsa-info here for the 6.11.4 kernel w/the 'fix'.

I discovered a work-around, suggesting a bug.
While sound was working correctly (6.9.x kernels) I had a modprobe option:
>> options snd-sof-intel-hda-common hda_model=alc287-yoga9-bass-spk-pin
however that parameter was refactored out of the snd-sof-intel-hda-common
module.

the Realtek ALC287 with the CS35L41 speaker amp, and has an existing
quirk to load the CS35L41 side codec. I'm using Alpine, and the

one does not!

I tried doing https://askubuntu.com/a/1039685/985600 but when reinstalling snap
it always fails at the same place...
Also, when now I try to reinstall snap it notifies me that the current kernel
is not the expected, which is really strange because I have the newest kernel
The latest upload was restricted to a fix in d/t/sshd-socket-generator,
