@hypothetical-lemon yes we plan to SRU the fix to focal however a fix is
only needed in the userspace. The fix is in the apparmor userspace
policy compiler, the kernel is just enforcing what the compiler is
incorrectly telling it to enforce.

hi @mtu, in that case no confined snaps will work for you, which you are
probably noticing. Something is wrong with your installation, I think. At a
wild guess, try installing gdm3 and making it default. Or reinstall.

The comment by @fru1z (#32) worked for me on Ubuntu 22.04 with
GlobalProtect 5.3.1-36. Be sure to comment out the line mentioned in the
instructions. Adding the "Options = UnsafeLegacyRenegotiation" line by
itself did not work for me.

Disabling Adobe Source Code Pro font on Ubuntu/Pop using font manager
and restarting writer largely fixes the issue for me.
I found this fix on reddit. The Source Code font from Adobe seems
problematic.

Looks like the culprit here is python3, as doing
apt install python3:i386
causes the removal of several important packages. This in a Jammy LXD
container and after doing `dpkg --add-architecture i386`.
The python3 package is marked Multi-Arch: allowed, so I would expect the

In bug #1992241 it is suggested that this problem is due to sd-networkd
relying on the file's timestamp to decide if the interface needs to be
re-started. Netplan generate/apply would re-create the (identical) files
in /run/systemd/network/10-netplan-*.network but those would have a
newer timestmp.
Thank you for your investigation Thomasz, I've assigned the bug to the
systemd project instead of netplan.

I'd like to re-interate that I use a regular Kubuntu installation,
