OK, I agree that this is not a security problem but UI issue only.
However, note that the UI says "Public key" and before that "Key
algorithm: RSA". As such, the public key should not have any extra bytes
at the start or at the end, just the public RSA 2048 bit key as is (as

I'm seeing the same issue since upgrading to 22.04. Running it trough
the command line as indicated above works fine, so it's probably not an
issue with the VPN provider.

we just found that it's because we have universe -proposed enabled on that node
only. (Which should be disabled for our SRU test)
On other instances they're still using the old test case from
1:4.0.6-0ubuntu1~20.04.1.
