attention so unlikely to fixed in the near future.
Ubuntu MATE provides several resolution-efficient panel layouts, so
removing `mate-netbook` from Ubuntu MATE
The workaround for Ubuntu MATE versions prior to 22.04 is to remove the
`mate-netbook` package. It is Recommended only, so can be safely removed
