I've been able to reproduce this with a 16.04 Amazon EC2 exported image on
VMware vSphere 6.7. The VM boot fine after adding a serial port.
We will try to reproduce the same workaround adding a serial console connection
in OCI (which is the final target for that cloud image).

I made some experiments to define the behaviour, the problem is, that 3
computers with installed ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS behave(d) differently
(installing fuse-exfat 1.3.0 stopped the described behaviour in two of
the computers, seems, that nautilus is able to bypass fuse-exfat in some
conditions).

I now connected the printer with the network cable instead of USB and it
seems I can use "driverless printing" for this one. Still strange with
the canon driver. Also there should be more users with this issue.

I am using ubuntu mate 21.04 daily build.I tried updating with sudo apt
update && sudo apt upgrade -y && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y && sudo apt
autoremove -y
I saw version update of linux image from 5.8.0-25-generic
to
1.linux-image-generic/hirsute-proposed 5.8.0.30.32+21.04.34
I've just used a fresh image of Mate 20.10 and used -proposed and done a
full update and reboot. My bluetooth mouse, headphones and external
keyboard are working fine now with this build so this bug has been fixed
for me.

I add the PPA into my ubuntu 18.04 corosync/pacemaker service node.
Then I upgrade the following libnss-systemd libpam-systemd libsystemd0 libudev1
