the latest Ubuntu Desktop 18.04 with default deviations:
- minimal installation

Issue persists with current LibO 6.3.1.2 and most likely due to the fact
that the bluetooth stack on linux (bluez) has changed in the past years
and impress has not cought up.
Problem is now more visible due to the startup tooltips in Impress 6.3.x
which explicitly introduce the impress remote fun
Speech Dispatcher and vboxadd users are not shown on LightDM and in session
menu.
Tested on all LightDM-related flavors.
Bug is fixed.

A lot of dependencies and the new naming scheme is too unreliable because
multiple servers are being served. with 70-persistent-net.rules we can trust
the interfaces get the correct device name we need (until now).
If something like that is broken during a release change (18.04 to 19.04) it's
ok
That patch has also been obsoleted in Debian recently, and upstream
systemd has no longer support 70-persistent-net.rules thing. Any reason
you cannot move to new naming scheme?
