like some other config file is getting loaded with it in your case.

Bluetooth audio and profile selection is actually the job of pulseaudio,
not bluez (surprisingly).
Also, A2DP has always been preferred over HSP/HFP but the availability
and detection of A2DP has been historically buggy. So the selection
might not turn out as you hope. AFAIK fixes for this already

It is odd that a keyboard issue would manifest only in the login screen
at first, but now fails intermittently after login. A different

Since the upstream 3.13 kernel the radeon.audio=1 kernel boot option has
not been necessary. Instead, HDMI audio on ATI/AMD Radeon cards can be
enabled and disabled on the fly by typing the following in a terminal

Never mind. You are using AMD's proprietary fglrx driver so the above

I tested the fix from ppa:inaddy/lp1718966 and I am now able to install
snaps on my two test systems without using the /etc/fstab workaround,
one with LVM and one without. Both systems have /var isolated. Thanks!
