I upgraded to ubuntu 17.04 three days ago and the installation went well, the
bug appeared right afterwards. The volume notification pops out on its own and
the slider keeps on moving up and down. It sometimes doesn't happen

microphone is useless-quiet. Alsamixer has microphone turned on and at
