I also have Skylake laptop (ASUS GL502VM) with a GTX 1060 which is
always in Discrete mode (I can't use it in hybrid mode at all) and I

I also have this problem and it is stupid to have watchdog started
manually using systemd after each (re)boot to work.
I have removed all blacklist-entries for iTCO_wdt and also rebuild
initramfs ... but it still says at boot that module is blacklisted ...

I purged Nvidia 381.09 driver and reinstalled default Nvidia 375.39 via
additional drivers.
Now the situation has returned to initially reported problem: everything is ok
with adjusting screen bright

As far as I understand big hard-drives are not automatically mounted - but
should be present as partitions to mount via nautilus. E.g. I would not expect
4TiB drives to automount.
Automatically mounted are only flash-usb sticks.
