other input device to it. I've only used that to connect to the

But if you start the app in vm that doesn't have a cam than it looks strange,

I've solved the problem.
Luckily, before the kernel upgrade wrecked my machine, I'd backed up the
/home directories.
After a lot of grief, I managed to install 15.10 from a flash drive
(initially, the UEFI BIOS wouldn't let me boot from the CD or the flash
drive).

I couldn't reproduce it. Can you post strace output of script? There
will be more than one script process -- chose the one that is consuming
100% CPU and run something like:
$ strace -tt -p >/tmp/strace.out
Let it run for about 15 seconds and exit. Then upload the output.

Nazar, you're right: I've installed them manually downloading and running dpkg.
Nevertheless, I think that the fact that package metainfo doesn't contain all
it's requirements is a bug and should be fixed.

The current implementation of telephony-service-indicator does two queries to
the address-book-service:
- one to show the OSD notification
- one to add the item to the messaging menu
This could be optimized to query the service just once for contact
information.

Yes I followed that link, which identified the mainline kernel 4.4.3 as
the one for xenial. Please tell me which kernel I should have installed.

The same behaviour can be tested on desktop with a simulated mouse
presence (UITK Gallery burger action button has "Activate mouse". That
simulates the mouse attach/detach, and the BottomEdge page then can be
clicked/dragged.

First, the mouse detection is not yet available in toolkit due to
security reasons. The browser has a solution which works, but this is
not supported by the toolkit atm. But of the hint is set to Locked
state, it should be able to click or drag with mouse.
