Screen freezes occasionally while simply browsing the web, can be recovered by
ctrl+alt+f1 and ctrl+alt+f7
This has been the case in 14.04, and it's still the case in 14.10 (64 bit)

I am facing this issue on my 15.10 x64 install. I expected the bluetooth
and the WiFi indicators to exhibit the same behavior, i.e., grayed out
but visible when in the off/disabled state. However, the bluetooth icon
completely disappears and I have to reenable bluetooth from System
Settings > Hardw

@xtrchessreal I just tried a variant of what you said (I deleted
everything except the most recent kernel, and didn't keep the second
most latest) and it fixed it. I am now able to reboot without having
this bug any more.
