Confirmed the bug still exists in rc-proposed (313), but it is fixed in
devel-proposed.
In rc-proposed 313 the issue still appears to be the old ubuntu-
application-api2-touch, which depends on libmirclient8 causing this

Using the script-security 2 option in the configuration file, everything
works correctly when run from command line: "sudo openvpn --config

The error you're seeing is that by default, the Ubuntu filesystem is
read-only. Sorry for not mentioning this. There is a way to make your
filesystem write-able, but an easier way to get the traces is to run the

Hrm... the alternateNames.txt file does note the language -- so we
could do a nice get_name(string locale) API or similar. But it's 105 MB
zipped, compared to the 9 MB zipped for cities15000.txt...
