Go to console (Ctrl + Alt + F1), login, then kill gdm, in my case,
lightdm:
sudo killall lightdm

nvidia-xsettings
This will create a basic xorg.conf into /etc/X11.
Now, install Gnome Flashback, wich brings two options
The orientation lock option is there in system-settings now but doesn't
