It's not a good idea to run a bridge on the same node as a relay. All relay IPs are published and so anyone blocking relays would block your bridge as well. Cheers. On 7/21/2022 5:20 AM, Me via tor-relays wrote: Good day all. I am currently running two middle relays on my home network and wa

You don't need tor installed on your local machine to contribute to the Tor network by running a AWS-based relay. Did you spin up an AWS EC2 micro instance using the image on cloud.torproject.org? If so, then (at least in principle) you don't need to do anything more, but it's probably a good

I want to contribute to Tor, maybe I mean relay? That's why they suggested the easiest way was thru AWS. So I got an account that's free, sort of. Thanks for replying. On Fri, Jun 6, 2014 at 12:35 PM, Runa A. Sandvik wrote: > On Fri, Jun 6, 2014 at 6:05 PM, CD wrote: > > I've signed up to AWS

Hello, assuming I have a friend, Bob. He has two IP addresses and wants to contribute to the tor network. He doesn't want to operate an exit, relay or bridge himself, though. I offer him to operate the bridges on my hardware and he's magically forwarding the required ports from his machines IPs to
