something that should be much simpler if we intend to be targeting
non-technical users.

Users who need these connections will have them and those that don't,

As many of you know, Kathy Brade and I have been working on a Firefox
add-on named Tor Launcher, which will function as a Tor process manager
and controller for TBB (replacing Vidalia).
