This is a little frustrating because we just want developers to have
an easier time writing/auditing string code to avoid overflows and
truncations, especially considering so many standard C APIs require
fixed length
Question to the developers. Based on the dmesg below what would be a
good starting point for a noob to start poking around with driver
development.
Or better yet... anyone want this board to hack on?

Our IPv6CP implementation has never handled IFID collisions. The old
code (from before r1.112 of if_spppsubr.c) punted and left the address
unchanged. The new code (as of r1.112) is supposed to handle collisions,
but instead goes into an endless conf-nak loop with the peer.
