In the 4.7 release of locate there's a bug where
locate -i 'old'
matches Old OLD olD etc
but
locate -i '*old*'
only matches old
There is a missing conditional in fastfind.c:
BEGIN diff -u HERE - fastfind.c 1.10
--- fastfind.c.old Mon Jun 8 16:18:57 2009
+++ fastfind.c Fri May 21 22:17
Since I don't understand where such short mbufs can come from, I just
resorted to dropping them and hoping for the better. The code still
hasn't fired as it takes a long time for the buggy condition to come
up. I don't see any regression either.
$ diff -u sys/dev/ic/if_wi.c~ sys/dev/ic/if_wi.c

Hello everyone,
you were right, it was broken. rt_if_remove_rtdelete was looking in
wrong domain and the right one contained freed stuff. I'm not sure
whether what I've done is correct and even less sure about what struct
ifnet's if_rdomain is for. Can someone clarify this for me? (or
