Yes (or until you interrupt it with ^C or whatever your interrupt
character is).

I wonder whether or not tcpdump has a timeout period before it's able to
read anything from the interface?
I mean if there's no traffic currently from the interface, will tcpdump keep
reading from it until traffic comes? Or
it'll quit after a specific timeout?
