I'm using SeaMonkey 2.40 on Macintosh 10.12.1. A few days ago there was a sudden disappearance of all 5 of my email accounts, their messages, all the bookmarks, all address lists and history. A restore using Time Machine did not restore the missing files. I have an alternate source of my emails

For Lightning check if it is just disabled. If its missing find extensions.installedDistroAddon.{e2fda1a4-762b-4020-b5ad-a41df1933103} in your about:config and reset it. Should reappear magically after a restart. That said 2.49a1+ is unstable and unusable right now. Problems are being worked
