With apopologies to all the translators... a late pull request brought in
a hand full of new strings. It would be nice if you could take another
look. Most of them are near identical to existing strings, so this should
be fairly easy.

Hi everyone.
I know that many of you aren't subscribed to the GitHub notifications,
so this is a quick invitation to take a look...
Jan has just posted a rather extensive PR to GitHub in order to get
feedback on a proposed new shared system for preferences that can
be used from all parts of the
Indeed - the problem is that I cannot reproduce it even though I'm on the same
distro...
So unless someone else comes up with a suggestion, I'm not sure what to do.
