Sebastian, Dwokfur is correct.  I also had the problem with missing lines in 1.4.22.  Upgrading to Squirrelmail 1.4.23 [SVN] cured the issue on my site.  At the core of the problem was PHP changes (Linux distribution I use moved from PHP 5.x to PHP 7.x) which broke Squirrelmail 1.4.22. Craig On
