If you had 1.2.x already working, then double check your configuration
options and read the help pages on the SquirrelMail website. If you're
using a plugin like vlogin, also make sure you have similar settings
there as well.

the new SM_PATH constant, it appears that this change was either not
thorough, or done a long time ago... The author is around, and could
probably get it up to speed for SquirrelMail 1.4 with little trouble -
