Address book classes are independent. I don't think that code in 1.5.x uses
something that is not available in 1.4.x. You can use LDAP address book
class from 1.5

If you had 1.2.x already working, then double check your configuration
options and read the help pages on the SquirrelMail website. If you're
using a plugin like vlogin, also make sure you have similar settings
there as well.
