It's a bad sign when you don't know what IMAP server you've got.. IIRC,
the one that Red Hat defaults to has always been uw-imapd. Which doesn't
use Maildir.

I have a .qmail file that specifies ./Maildir and I have my Maildir all
set up (I have another (Less intuitive)) e-mail package that I tested this

This is a setting you need to make with your IMAP server, and has
nothing to do with SquirrelMail. You should post your question in a
more appropriate place, but if you ask nicely and in
