I'm not sending the email from a hotmail address. But the question that
appears to rise is: Is it really from hotmail's end since my Outlook or
whatever non-webbased client would work strictly with the same settings
(from address, domain, reply-to address, recipient, message, mail server,
etc)?
Or
There's probably very little you can do for this as it's on hotmail's
end since it's rejecting the sender (ie, you). Is your from address a
hotmail address? Is your domain able to be looked up on a reverse query?
These are just a couple of things for you to check.

I don't think that this is a SM problem set your hostname on your linux
box, or set a reply-to address in SM. The mail is being reject because there
is no valid reply-to address, when you send mail using a diffrent client,
such as outlook on a diffrent machine, you already have the reply addres
