Yes, that's what I understood, but now I see that deleting it will
cause it to be recreated properly.

Editing the source code was what I was thinking. Don't know enough
about html or perl to know where to look. Tomas Kuliavas posted a
reply that in a round about way fixes the issue.

I don't know which server you are using and how broken it is. Apple
changed IMAP servers several times. Current MacOS X version includes Cyrus
IMAP and it should work correctly. Other servers used in MacOS X are good
