Upgraded to SM1.4.0 and PHP 4.3.2. Everything now works fine.
Just need a few fine tuning with the CVS's.

I would also like to add that none of the plugins I installed
work. Also I can modify my options on the webmail, it gets
saved on my pref, but doesn't work.

Rob,
You don't say which version of SM you're running, but I suspect an
upgrade there is also in order. 1.2.11 is the latest stable code.
