that is when i run perl conf.pl in config directory

Have you got a / missing in the config file - perhaps it should be
/home/sqmail/data

btw let me tell u that my data directory is
/home/sqmail/data/ as seen when run perl conf.pl with the right
permissions and
attach directory is
