OK I have tried to debug and I haven't been able to find out why
things happen the way the do =(

I just recently started getting problems with SquirrelMail. Whenever
I try to send an email it takes about 60 seconds then I get an error
in the Compose screen: "Server replied: 354".
I have no idea how to track down what is causing this. According to
the logs on the mailsever
oned below, edit the php.ini file, restart apache, you will be
happy.

The sendmail is working fine.
