Hi
Thank you for quick replay.
I use your mail system through an intermediary company Redcart.
Is it possible that I can't do operations you mentioned (I can't find
this path to manage folders) because Redcart should do some
modyfications in config files on their servers?
Best regards

Hi
I have problems with creating subfolders. Problem occures no matter if I
am logged to mail by: Internet Explorer, Firefox or using Thunderbird. I
can create only new folders but no possibility to create subfolder.
When I pick "Folders" than "Create a folder" write name of new folder

We try to use SquirrelMail with the Messaging Server (part of Sun

On the mailstore, I have :

I have my folders set up to not be subfolders of INBOX. When I delete a
folder it becomes a subfolder of trash and won't be removed until I either
create a new folder and refresh the folder list or delete another folder,
at which time the second deleted folder becomes a subfolder of trash and

I fixed it. I had to manually edit ~/.mailboxlist. Though why these folders
weren't visible to subscribe to I don't understand: SM is configured for the
proper IMAP server (UW).

Here's my setup:
SquirrelMail 1.4.0
Postfix version Postfix-20010228-pl03
PHP 4.2.3
I am running Postfix as an IMAP server. My INBOX resides at ~/user/INBOX.
Subfolders are created as subfolders of INBOX, in the maildir format.
I had been seeing subfolders in SM with no problem. Recently, I ins

No, not a limitation of *nix.
It's a limitation of the way UW-Imap interacts with the file system.

handled with squirrelmail?

Hello all,
I am new to squirrel mail. I have my sendmail mail server setup with
squirrelmail and all is working wonderfully. I would like to announce to
the users on the system that they can start using it but I wanted to make
sure they could create subfolders. I read the vague instructions. Al
