hey all- so having sorted the difference between STARTTLS and TLS(SSL), and gotten the whole shebang working in squirrelmail-1.5.x with PHP5, I've now realized that i need to go /back/ to PHP 4.4.2 to support a myriad of existing PHP 4 apps on the same server. so, given that, here's my dilemma
