Yes that would make sense but surely there is another overiding safety
measure somewhere in a config file? I thought I glimpsed it somewhere as
I browsed SM's files when I realised it was installed on my server.
I will have another look.

Activate "Options/Folder Preferences/Auto Refresh Folder List". Every
refresh will renew the session. If it's already activated, try with more
frequent updates.
