intereng things:
After sending "Microsoft office discovery protocol" as a "OPTIONS
/squirrelmail/src" of the http protocol and got reply "HTTP/1.1 302

Problem solved. It was permissions. All my web stuff belongs to user
"nobody", and I have configured apache to use that. But the latest
distributions have gone to user "apache".
I had to chown /var/lib/php from root.apache to root.nobody. Poof!

I recently rebuilt my linux box, and now I'm having trouble with logging on
to squirrelmail. None of my users can log into SM. It always says "you must
be logged in to access this page". Users can get their mail via an IMAP
client such as Thunderbird, but the website fails every time.
