I solved this problem by reconstructing the mailbox from cyradm. Must have
been some corruption but thankfully it
must only have been minor.

Ok, you've narrowed the problem down to Cyrus. If I had to guess, you've
got some sort of mailbox corruption, but that's literally just a guess.
Check the Cyrus docs/list archives for any clues how

Not sure if this is a squirrelmail problem or something else but
sometime yesterday squirrelmail stop working for one of my users and I
can't understand why. When this user logs in he gets the
following message in the right window pane: -
ERROR : Connection dropped by imap-server.
