Paul,
So, many many months have passed since I had been working on this without
success, other things were far more important so it was shelved.
So now having time to focus on this issue, and the unfortunate luxury of brand
new Centos build I dove in. All the systems here while not identical in

Hi Tovis,
send/read receipt is a question of configuration of your mta.
So my problem is always waiting for getting solved.
Because I know this problem, my solution is don't send any read receipt to
unknown people to hide my private email address.

Hello Squirrels,
I like this webmailer very well since many years. Thank you for your work!
I found a problem while sending read receipt. I don't use my private email
address for public purposes, I've a lot of email-aliases (I configured a
lot of advanced identities too). So somebody wrote me and

I have a established webmail system with ~3000 users. We are now at the
point where I will have to get customers onto a database backend, as we
have had to move squirrelmail onto a loadbalanced platform with an NFS
file backend, so we are hitting flock problems.
My question is:- Does anyone have a
arrange a new folder structure.
BTW, I'm running Qmail with Squirrel using the qmailrocks implementation
under slackware 10.1
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I've just installed SquirrelMaill and all is working fine except for the
Search. If I search on To, From, CC or Subject I get nothing but if I
search on Body it returns everything in the selected folder. No error
messages just all or nothing.
Running on: XP Pro, hmailserver, IMAP, Apache/2.0

I am wondering if SW will work well for large installations. The
last ISP I did some work for (about 1 million mailboxes) switched from a
defunct commercial product to Horde. But Horde suffered from a lot of
overhead, doing a pop/imap login for every page update and transferring

I checked the frame, again, plus the view-source for the frame,
and it isn't there.
I'm playing with 1.4.3a. I have searched for information on
setting the timezone, and everything points to the Options and then
Personal Information pages. However, that page shows absolutely nothing
about timezones.
I checked all files in the tarball (grep -i timezone) and there

Have you checked the squirrelmail logs - access and error? you might find
some idea there.
Also, f you aren't running a PHP accelerator, you should be. There are
several out there, but the best, arguably, is:
http://turck-mmcache.sourceforge.net/
Will it solve your problem? Probably not. But i
r. The login occurs then squirrelmail gives me the following
error...
"Error, you must be logged in to access this page"
Possibly, the best short-term fix is to downgrade to PHP 4.3.2.

The SM works fine, when I have "session_auto_start = 1" in php.ini, but does
not when it's disabled. I need it disabled for other php programs I'm running.
I tried several changes to the scripts, but can't seem to shake the e
