I spoke too soon. When I reinstalled some of our other web
applications, some configuration change somewhere screwed up
SquirrelMail again.
My work-around is to install apache and squirrelmail on a different
machine for the time being. I'll figure it out later.

things tidy. Which has been just perfect for ages just recently I am
getting occasionally through the squirrelmail interface "message not sent"
but then I click again it is sent.
Where should I look for why I am getting

email. How do I figure out my password in order to reset it? I am also

Let me add one more thing. Try telneting to the local host
telnet localhost 25
and see if you get an answer that gives you a clue that sendmail is working.
Some mail smtp programs require authentication before the mail can be
sent. (could this be the problem? I have no experience with sendmail.exe)

i having problem using local_autorespond_forward plugin.
whenever i enabled email forwarding, i have notice the change in .qmail file of
users home directory, there is these character ^ at the end of line.
My .qmail
./Maildir/ ---w/out forwarding
./Maildi

im having problem using autorespond plugin on SM 1.4.16. on a qmail.
everytime i enable forwarding capabilities in SM, the config overwrite my
.qmail file in users home directory. (removing ./Maildir )and causes the mail
to loop.
any suggestion for this?

In global ldap address book, all user must bind as only one user dn,
such as: 'cn=Manager,dc=example,dc=com'.
Every webmail user logins with their mail address, such as: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'.
But how can i let it bind as the login user itself? such as:
