Hi James, hi Paul,
maybe this is a cookie-problem within firefox.
Could you please verify that the squirrelmail cookie is there and is valid
when you are logged out?

Hi Jay,
if you mean replies to incoming emails, then you can set the width of the
editor field. The text is wrapped to fit into:
options ==> display ==> width of editor window

Jó napot kivánok, Attila,
good to know that at least archive.org has some recent snapshots:
https://web.archive.org/web/20191103003354/http://squirrelmail.org/
So we could try to figure out who the maintainer of the site / server is
and contact him.
Best regards,
Markus

Same here. Only 53/tcp is open. Seems like a server crash.

Hi Bob,
v.1.4.22 is absolutely incompatible with php > 5.
I already wrote this on some wiki pages. Also, that there's version 1.4.23
/ svn out, which runs on php 7. You get it here:
http://squirrelmail.org/download.php
Let us know if it works.

Hi,
maybe Paul knows about some trick, but, so far, I don't.
Next thing you could check is asking your email provider if they hold
backups from which you can choose one to fall back.

Markus

"most recent version 1.4.23-snv",
then looking at the official download page and there I see
"yes, 1.4.23-svn is there!".
So, I get it and all is fine.
Thanks for helping!

P.S.
Someone here interested in updating the English wik
version control system."
I think, this describes precisely enough, why we have 1.4.23-svn as the
most recent stable version.
And, yes -- we all have it in daily usage.
In my opinion it is the best and most convenient IMAP surface.
So, it is import that people get this info.

the outdated info is still sold as the truth.
Is there a way to force them to accept updated infos or to accelerate the
review procedure?

domain.com/src/compose.php?mailbox=INBOX&startMessage=1
You can see: the "webmail.mydomain.com" part is missing.
What's wrong there?! The other links, for example the links to each email in
the inbox works fine...
Thanks a lot
Markus
the user to the
previous page (eg Inbox or whatever that was) would be a good thing
when everything is ok. So the user knows that when he remains on the
compose messsage screen the message was not sent and it is really
save to send again.
Thanks for any suggestion
