SquirrelMail version: 1.4.23 [SVN]
I can connect to Dovecot and Postfix from command line.
I have no error in SquirrelMail configtest.
I can connect to Squirrelmail and send/receive
sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot

As my imap server supports threading and sort, it looks like fixing
conf.cfg for
$allow_thread_sort= TRUE;
$allow_server_sort= TRUE;
resolves the problem(s)
