Hello
I sent this in last night, but it never seemed to arrive...
I am having the following problem. Any idea what may be causing it, or
where I can look to obtain more information?
SquirrelMail: 1.4.4
PHP: 4.3.10
OS: Debian Woody Stable
Problem:
When SM sends a message via SMTP, it sends to
password file is searched every login ( sequentally )
that might create a high load even if the user exists in NIS..
Just my 2 cents..

m using Apache 2.048 and enabled the deflate module which
helps a lot when using browser that understand compressed data..
There are other stuff with IMAP servers that also culd be done
but i have not bothered yet..;-)

As a note.. If the FROM mail address is changed when
writing a mail and the mail is saved as a draft the FROM
address is changed to the default FROM instead of the FROM
that was selected when saving the mail as a draft..

which order i did a sort ( if one ) when reading mails. Since next/previus
is a down/up in a list that i cannot see i have to try to visualize the

When you then try to create a subfolder of "Main" you cannot
do that since you did not allow it in the first step.
What you need to do is to remove the FOLDER "Main"
( or rename it ).

In your case it then looks like you have to ask your ISP nicely
and see if he perhaps have a IMAP access to your mailbox..
Or even better.. Ask him to replace his current webmail with SM...

h time in trying to figure out why this happens
as i personally could solve it using netscape instead when i use GPRS.
I also have a feeling that when i used php4.3.1 i did not see this
problem at all after adjusting some php.ini timeout values..

Last week when i checked i found that it was delayed more than that..
I think it was something like 5 days..
I.e. changes that was in the snapshot and was 5 days old
was not in the SF cvs anonymous update...

bug existed for a while i have not used attachments
that much except for files named like "x.zip"...
I'm running 1.4.2 CVS from around Aug 27 which was the last
time i was able to sync from sf..

If it is fixed i'll be real happy.. Most of my attachments come
with spaces or are qp encoded in their filenames..

to get broken filenames...

They might also have special access procedures to allow you to use
"leave mail on server"

message view. I.e bottom-up or up-down. This setting is per user
and is under "Options".
There is also a possibility to sort items but this completely
separated from the view order option and is implemente
