Sorry. I was joking about the Banner Ads. You had mentioned a screen
like Hotmail. The first thought was about the Banner Ads and such. ;-)
You should be able to add graphics to the screen with some of the Plugins.

I am sure that you could use one of the plugins for Graphics, or create a
plugin to insert some Banner Ad's at the top and bottom. Set them up to
come from slow servers to add to the affect. ;-)
