Ok I've put the data directory also in /var/local and used an absolute path

I'm having some problems getting a standalone installation of Squirrelmail
working on a Plesk 8.4/CentOS box.
It reads and sends mail but I get write permission errors when saving user
prefs or uploading attachments.
