maybe a stupid question: I just applied the patches from
http://www.squirrelmail.org/patches/1.4.9-security/stable/ to my 1.4.8
installation, but it still claims to be 1.4.8 (in config.php $org_title
is set to "SquirrelMail $version").
How do I make sure that I have 1.4.9a running?

I want to increase upload_max_filesize. According to phpinfo(), I have:
php.ini in /usr/local/php-5.1.4/lib
/usr/local/php-5.1.4/lib/php.ini is 644, owned by root/root.
