I think I've isolated and I found a workaround for the the problem, of
which I can repeatedly reproduce now.
If two users access their mail from same browser even logging out, their
session data gets mixed. However if the user access from another computer
it's again ok. The problem shows

I'm using php 4.0.4. Isn't it a bit annoying to change function names from
version to version. Reminds me the way a *software monopoly* which pushes
upgrades by incompatibilities :) Just kidding.

I can assure you that none of the users have logged from the same
computer. Some don't know each other.
To give a hint, this happens uring the busy hours. Might be a coincidence
but it attracted my attention.
Can you give some detail about the issue? Although I didn't look SM source

Here's a little bit more detail.
IMAP: cyrus 2.0.16-115 SuSE stock RPM.
Apache and PHP are updated from SuSE. No special compilation is done since
there are too many servers around :) Upgrading SuSE 7.3 to 8.0 or 8.1 is
