I replied to your previous message, but only to state that i have the
EXACT same problem.
html messages with attachments from Outlook(+Express) and Ximian
Evolution are reported as 'malformed' by SM while text messages pass,
html or text with attachments sent from SM are fine.

I reported this earlier as well, but did not get any responses. Im glad
(and sad) to know that I'm not the only one having this problem.
Here's what I've got...
HTML + attachments:
from Outlook or Outlook Express - message fails - message malformed
error
from Ximian Evolution - message fails - m
My suggestion would be to check the logs on all involved servers.
Check your apache (or whatever webserver) error_log
check your imap server logs
check that the user that your cyrus imap server is running is the same
user that owns the mail folders.

so telling them that they can only accept text formatted emails is out of the
question. There has to be a way.
