Hey,
I want to thank Paul for creating a plugin that allows a user to change the
"From" and "To" fields in folders. I've now got 15 years of
stored email that I see whom I sent it to.
Thank you Paul, for making this happen!!!

Good Morning.
I save off my email via years. I created a folder called "old-email", and as
sub-folders to this, I create two folders for each year; 1)
'email-year', and 2) 'sent-email-year'.
The structure looks like this (using 2005 as the 'year'):
- old-email
- email-2005
- email-2006

A few notes below on the first issues I noted with the interface. I disabled
the 'preview-pane' plugin and resolved most of the issues.
I'll show which ones below. I don't use 'preview-pane' view, so it appears
this plugin was still having some effect on the interface just

Installed the above version dated 11.17.2021 and have it working.
I am missing functionality in the interface and am wondering if this might be
due to not being able to patch a few of the plugins.
Using this version ^^above^^, do the following plugins need to be patched:
- msg_flags
- reply_
Fixed the attachment directory write issue by setting setenforce to '0'.
Then I got held up on the IMAP server (dovecot) and had to set 'Secure IMAP
(TLS)' setting to 'disabled'.
Does these sound ok? Or, do I have another issue??
Great news is I just logged into my new Squirrelmail setup!!!

I am past this point now. Solved a bit more items. But now stuck on writing
permissions to the attachment directory
(/var/spool/squirrelmail/attach/)
- main thing I fixed was the squirrelmail conf file in the /etc/httpd
directories.

Good Evening,
Problem: Squirrelmail will not run due to likely permissions issue on the
server.
I am trying to get Squirrelmail running on a Centos 8 server. I have Centos 8
fully patched and running on stream. Using Apache, dovecot,
SA, and clamav for email. I have all those pieces installed
most people turn selinux 'off'?
5. Have I missed any important details that I need to know here???
Thanks for the answers.

Good evening,
I have not able able to run the http:///ip-addr/src/configtest.php script, nor
access Squirrelmail. Looking for suggestions on what I
might have missed.
I got squirrelmail installed in /usr/share/squirrelmail and 'configured' to
work (using ./conf.pl). This setup below is about th
The email below shows that my lines are wrapping and I do not know where to
look in the config to
stop this from occurring.
Can you please point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Jay

Good evening,
LONG time user of Squirrelmail. 10+ years... Finally decided that my Centos 6
server needs
retirement and am working on a Centos 8 box. I've been looking at webmail
clients but nothing
really appeals to me, keep coming back to Squirrelmail.

I figured out that having multiple_attachments plugin enabled prevented me from
attaching more
than 4 files. I moved that plugin to the inactive section and I resolved my
issue. I also did not
have the plugin configured, but I don't see anything in there that would
suggest a max of 4 files

Been using Centos and Squirrelmail since early in Centos 6 cycle. IIRC, I used
to be able to
attach more than 4 pictures to an email. Now I can't, four seems to be the
limit. Picture file
size doesn't seem to matter, they can be 50k or 5 meg each. I upped the limits
in php.ini for the
