In case anyone cares (or runs into the same problem themselves), using
the secure version of Gmail fixed all the issues I was having with
disappearing bits of SM-USERS email. They still haven't answered me
as to why this should be, nor do I have any clue why this list should
be the only one affect
This is one of the messed-up messages (from the "wish list" thread).
Your quoted text is there but not what you added. It's got to be a
Gmail problem, but it only affects this list--I'm on quite a few
others and haven't seen anything like this. Oddly, the missing text
does show up in the excerpt

Hmm. Looks like it's time to talk my provider into upgrading to the

The reason I'm asking the Squirrelmail list in addition to the Gmail
people is because I subscribe to many lists and this is the only list

happens in both IE and Netscape
Separate Compose window won't open, and mouseover shows
"javascript:void(0)". If compose is not set to open in separate window,
all is fine.
I'm using SquirrelMail as provided by my webhost; I'm not the one who
loaded the program.
